Transition

Please send your prayers out to the Reinschmidt family as they move on to a new ministry. Todd will be starting seminary in Georgia in June 2007. Please also pray for Christie Hoffman as the new US Coordinator.

Safety

El Paso and Juarez had terrible storms and flooding on August 1 causing a great deal of damage. More rain continues to fall daily.

Pray for the safety of those living here as well as the clean-up process.

Mission Teams

Praise God for 9 wonderful mission teams this year.

Pray for the team from Korean Presbyterian Church, Metro Detroit who is serving with us through August 4.

Pray for the team from Grace Presbytery that will be coming in December for their first college mission trip.

Presbyterian Border Ministry

Pray that God’s will be revealed to the PC (USA) and the National Pres. Church of Mexico as they evaluate PBM’s role and plan for the future

Pray for each of the 7 PBM sites and their staff

Pasos de Fe

Praise God for Annie, Caitlyn and Doug, the interns that served with Pasos de Fe this year.

Pray for finances for Pasos de Fe. We are in need of “unrestricted funds”.

Pray for the many projects that Pasos de Fe is involved in; that God’s will be done.

Presbyterian Churches and Missions in Juárez

Pray for the pastors and the congregations that God continue work in and through them.

Pray for the churches’ surrounding neighborhoods, that Jesus’ love be seen and their hearts opened.

Presbyterian Churches in El Paso

Pray for the pastors and congregations that God continue to lead them in a process to strengthen the churches.

Pray for the pastor nominating committees of the churches that currently do not have called pastors.

Presbyteries and Church Denominations

Pray for Trés Rios and Sierra Blanca Presbyteries and PC (USA), for God’s guidance and wisdom.

Pray for the upcoming Presbytery meeting of Tres Rios

Pray for Chihuahua Presbytery and the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico, for God’s guidance and wisdom.
